NextGen Spark 2025 is our premier annual showcase and competition where our students step into the spotlight. It is a celebration of creativity, where learners from all NextGen Makers branches—Setia Alam, Puncak Alam, Shah Alam, and MTDC-UiTM—come together to display the innovative projects they’ve built throughout the year.
The event is structured into three key phases designed to transform students from learners into confident innovators:
Students present their robotic and coding projects to a live audience. This is their chance to explain their logic, demonstrate their builds (from Botley to Arduino IoT systems), and show how they’ve applied STEM principles to real-world scenarios
Participants enter friendly yet challenging competitions based on their program levels. These challenges test their speed, accuracy, and troubleshooting skills under pressure, fostering a healthy competitive spirit.
Beyond the trophies, this event is officially recognized for PAJSK (Pentaksiran Aktiviti Jasmani, Sukan Dan Kokurikulum) marks. Every participant earns valuable co-curricular points that contribute to their school records, bridging the gap between private academy learning and formal education.
IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS: Participation in NextGen Spark 2025 entitles students to earn PAJSK (Pentaksiran Aktiviti Jasmani, Sukan Dan Kokurikulum) marks. This event is officially recognized as a platform for students to gain co-curricular points, which are essential for their school records and future academic applications.

NextGen Spark is designed to provide 6 core developmental benefits to every participant
Earn official co-curricular marks that contribute directly to school performance records and secondary school applications.
Students build immense confidence by presenting and explaining their technical projects to judges and visitors.
The event challenges students to move from "following a manual" to "original execution," showing true mastery of innovation.
In a live environment, students learn to think on their feet and solve technical glitches instantly—a vital engineering skill.
Projects are evaluated based on their alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals, fostering responsible innovation.
Collaborating with peers from different branches fosters leadership and the ability to work effectively in a high-energy team.
